Tried out running the summer before Junior year because my sister made me go and hated it… went more than I should and even went to some winter running. Decided to try one more time before senior year and turned out loving it… even though I wasn’t too great but not bad either, would have been JV if track were a thing. Overran through quarantine and ended up with shins splints… they knocked me on my butt for two months and now we're here to get back at it.

Child of John and Jennell Aykroyd and sister to my favorite sister Ellie… born in Olathe, moved to Illinois in preschool, and stayed there till moving back to KC freshmen year. Never understood healthy amounts of extracurriculars so did a multitude of sports and art in middle school and highschool. Is a health freak, control freak, and nature lover… lives in sweatshirts and lives for oatmeal and icecream… loves drawing… love trying different things and believes in choosing happiness:)
